A SCHOOL WITH A GLOBAL VISION

In the year 1972, the vision of a forerunner educationist Mr. J. K. Gaur manifested itself in the form of an ISO certified school, which spreads over 10,000 sqm of serene ambience, providing learning & stimulating environment. And ever since then, the school has set a new standard in shaping young minds.

Mr. J.K. Gaur, a renowned educationist, was honored for his distinguished services in the field of education by Smt. Sheela Dixit, the then Chief Minister of Delhi, on 23rd February 2002.

Our Pedagogy

We at JKGIS provide ample scope for all the students from Nursery to XII for their holistic growth-- physical, intellectual and social. We always strive to integrate innovation such as experiential learning, art integrated learning and technological innovations to keep pace with the global trends in various disciplines. Our pedagogies are learner centric so that we can cater to the needs of all our students.

Integrated Experiential Learning Program is a 360-degree holistic approach to education which incorporates fun activities and integrated topics aligned to the NEP 2020. We have been following this pedagogy since 2016 from grade Nursery to V. This program enhances distinct types of intelligences and make our learners future ready. We assess and evaluate our learners based on their acquired skills and knowledge. This methodology makes learning and evaluation process authentic, child centric and more objective. This program always provides opportunities for our learners to explore, experience and enjoy varied integrated concepts and skills. The table below illustrates all the 21 century skills, designed by NEP 2020 which are incorporated in our program.
